Information You Send Directly
Text entered into a search box, such as a name, phone number, or address, is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. This reference does not retain a copy of those searches. If you email or otherwise contact the operators, the message and details you choose to include are used to answer it.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps in ordinary server logs. Aggregate information helps keep the Santa Rosa pages available and shows which references need maintenance. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement when those services are active.
Why Limited Data Is Used
Technical information is used to operate the pages, diagnose faults, understand broad traffic, and improve the reference. We do not sell visitor lists or build an individual profile from ordinary page use.
Links to Other Providers
Pages link to Sonoma County and California portals, court systems, library collections, archives, and sponsored search tools. The destination's own privacy policy controls what happens after a visitor leaves this reference. Review that policy before entering information into an outside service.
Who May Process Logs
Hosting and support vendors may process ordinary server logs so the pages can function. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information may be disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is handled for the purposes stated here.
Security and Retention
The pages use an encrypted connection. Logs are kept only for the operational purposes that require them. Because there are no visitor accounts, this reference does not hold a password or personal profile for a reader to expose.
Visitors Under 18
The material is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent personal information, contact the operators so it can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
Your California Privacy Choices
California's Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code §1798.100 et seq., as amended by Proposition 24, provides covered consumers with rights that can include knowing, deleting subject to exceptions, correcting, opting out of sale or sharing, limiting certain sensitive-information use, and receiving equal treatment. See the California Attorney General CCPA explanation for the current scope and exceptions.
Requests about information held by this reference can be made through the Contact page. Because very little visitor information is retained, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and applicable logs. Public records held by Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, or California agencies are outside the operators' control. The California Public Records Act, Government Code §§7920.000-7931.000, governs access to those government records, and deletion or correction requests for them belong with the custodian. Public government-record information is excluded from the CCPA definition in important respects.
Changes to This Policy
When the privacy practices or legal references change, a revised version will be posted here. Continued use after the new version appears indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
